I decided on the Seagate and should have it in a few days. Installation looks pretty straightforward, but is does anyone who has installed a hard drive in their G5 have any helpful tips/advice on installation?

When I was taking my old drive out, I didn't realize that the grooves where you slide the top drive in/out slope forward _and_ down. I thought I had to just pull the drive straight out. So I just yanked the sucker straight out. Which worked, but was not a good idea. I'm amazed I didn't break something. Very stupid of me.

Other than that, it was as easy as pie.

Thanks for the advice... I don't think I'll have any problems, but I'll keep this in mind.
