2x iMacs running Windows, as target display for nMP

As the title says, can I use two iMacs that run Windows as a target display for a nMP? It works fine in OSX but cmd-F2 does nothing in a windows environment...

Is target display mode not embedded in the hardware?

unfortunately, tdm is not supported in boot camp

It's a shame its not available through hardware...
