3.0 Beta: Is the contacts app gone???

My phone no longer has a button for the app "Contacts"... Anyone else?? It is still available through the phone app obviously...

The purpose of the contacts app (it was an add on) was to be able to add a new contact while on a phone call. Can you now do that?

Still a contacts button on the in-call screen.... and if you click on it, yes you can add contact

I wish they'd get rid of the contacts app. It's just redundant.

Yeah, I had it POOFED before I installed 3.0, wonder if it the icon didn't recover when I unjailbroke....

From past experience, any thing you POOF'd will stay hidden. So if you POOF'd Stocks.app, even when you restore from backup on 3.0 your Stocks.app will still be hidden. I've read situations similar to yours with other apps people had POOF'd on a jailbroken 2.2.1 when upgrading to 3.0 and the icons not showing.

Its also there surely because of the iPod touch .... since that doesn't have messages and phone apps they need a simply place to deal with contacts.

My stocks has gone. Contacts are still there, facebook is hidden (lol - can't open that now) and my carrier says "iPhone".
