Has anyone else recently taken delivery of a 3.0 GHz Mac Pro and been able to determine whether it has E5472 or X5472?

An update of what is being shipped these days might sway my decision one way or the other (2.8 vs 3.0).

I am getting mine tomorrow. Won't know for a couple days after that.
BUT...it looks extremely likely that it is an X5472. Enjoy your 2.8.

You're not wrong there :D. Seriously though, if you do get a chance, let us know.

Cheers Topper but I've already dropped the notes on the 3 jiga!:D

I notice that in another post you mentioned that you were happy with the a-ku-stics which is good. Not that it would bother me anyway, I have a Dell Precision here which occasionally goes into chainsaw mode, can't imagine the Mac being worse than that.

For the benefit of anyone interested, I will let you know which cpu's I get.

Wow, and here I thought you were a 2.8 kinda guy.
Congrats :)

For anyone interested, the 3.0 GHz Mac Pro arrived Friday 7th March with the X5472's.

Wow, this thing is dope eitherway!:D
