I take it these links are direct downloads to the file and not going through iTunes to do it?

If so, how do you use this file with iTunes?

Drag and drop it in?

i'm plugging in my phone and it says my 3.0 firmware is up to date...is there a difference?

Hmm WTF, im downloading from the link now, but it doesnt say theres a new update in Itunes.

How do you browse for your own firmware agian!? Ctrl+restore?
