Does this feature work? It doesn't for me. I get keyboards in portrait view, but the keyboard does not change to landscape when I rotate the ipod touch.

Maybe it's an option you have to enable?

I haven't DL'd 3. yet, I plan on waiting until 3.1 or 3.01.

It doesn't work for Safari. It works for Notes & Mail.

I like the international keyboard option.

Doesn't work in Safari for me - but it should according to the Apple Store where it says ... "Landscape Keyboard. Want more room to type? Rotate iPod touch to landscape to use a larger keyboard in Mail, Messages, Notes and Safari."

Does work okay for me in Mail and Notes!

Am currently waiting to hear from Apple about this ...

Works in Safari, Notes, Email, on my 2nd gen Touch, as well as on my 1st gen.

Doesn't on the new Search panel. Silly oversight on Apple's part IMO.

My OS 3.0 is working great. I have the landscape keyboard in every app it promises. The only glitches are a few apps that aren't compatible.

There's a few places where the landscape mode doesn't work at all.

Ones I've found are:-

1) Spotlight search
2) App Search
3) Music Search

But weirdly, Searching your Inbox does work!

At first, auto-rotate didn't work in Safari for me. After trying to see if it worked in either Mail or Notes, it then worked in Safari. Strange.

If it is only Safari that does not work, make sure you do not have the keyboard open. Also, make sure you do not have the bookmarks page open. The only way Safari will switch to landscape mode is when you are currently viewing a webpage

Got it. It works in Safari if I open the keyboard while the web page is in landscape.
