absolutely not. You won't see a noticeable improvement between those two models. 5GB of RAM is far better for overall performance.

You'd see a bigger boost in performance if you put the money towards RAM instead of the 3.0GHz processor.

Hi,
You've all got me re-thinking this.

I'm tempted to say 'screw it' - or words to that effect - to my worries about how much all of this will cost, and get the 8 core with 5GB RAM.

We'll see what I decide tomorrow when I order the beast
