Does 3.0 allow you to record phone conversations? i have been doing quite a few phone interviews and it would be helpful to be able to do that.

I am not sure if it is supposed to be an included feature. Does anyone know for sure?

I wanted to try and use the memo recording app while on the phone with the person on speaker phone... but i never talk on the phone. wonder if that would work?

Nope, You just get a message that says voice recording is not available while on a call. I'd guess it's for legal reasons.

Not built in 3.0 but Im sure there will be apps released after 3.0 that could do it finally.
