3.0 software upgrade

Well I have tried many times to upgrade the software from 2.2.1 (which I had no problems to do) to 3.0 and I still can not get it to work so I guess I have
to stop in the store and get them to do it for me now.

Have many people had problems getting it to upgrade?
I did try a a few pc's.

I had no issues downloading and installing 3.0 on my iPod touch. What is the error message you are getting?

First it was a 1604 and then a 1602 and I forgot after I got past those.
