Does anyone else really dislike the new texting for 3.0? It just seems a lot more complicated. Often times I don't have service, so when I text, I know a message hasn't sent unless it goes into the main conversation screen. But now, it automatically goes back, and the little sending bar at the top starts moving. If I quickly go back to doing something else, and it doesnt send, I never know, until I go back a few minutes later and look. Its really annoying, and typing in general seems slower.

I was going to say the opposite. It feels way faster. I like that I can navigate away from a the texting area and the message will still send. I'd assume if it failed to send it would notify you, however I've never had a message fail to send.

i like how it moves the text bubble onto the conversation before it actually sends it. At first i didn't, because if you were to text someone as they text you, on your phone it would say you texted them first, but in reality you didn't (OCD i know), but i like how right when you finish texting you can start typing another text to the same person.

And typing feels generally faster

You could always navigate away from the texting area and it would still send. What you couldn't do was immediately compose another message to the same recipient.

I'm undecided so far.
