Hey all,
My 2007/2008 (?) 3.06 ghz iMac recently froze while I was screwing around in Windows 7. The display got some pink lines through and I thought some graphics hiccup was in progress. So had to do a hard shutdown. Now, all my iMac does is make the Apple chime over and over. Display remains black and the chime becomes softer as it loops before becoming loud again.
Holding down the power button does end the loop (turns it off). I am at a loss of what to try next. Will doing the PRAM reset etc. do anything if it's not getting past the Apple chime?
