3.1.2 to 3.1.3 or 4.0 Question

I searched the forums and didn't see what I was looking for so sorry if it's here and I missed it.
Anyway, I'm not a hacker but have a 3G Jailbroken/Unlocked running T-Mobile. I have Blackra1n installed and would like to know if I can upgrade to 3.1.3 without having issues and just run blackra1n on the phone after the upgrade is complete. Or should I just upgrade to 4.0. I suspect I have the old bootrom. Thanks in advance for your help.

stick with 3.1.2 since the 4 is still in beta wait for a while until u make an upgrade😀

4.0 is beta? it's been out for a month! 😉

If you have an iphone 3G you dont have to worry about bootroms or SHSHs.
You can just update to official 4.0, JB with redsnow and then install ultrasnow from cydia to unlock.
