Yea... That's been out since last night.

And Pwnage tool has been a Mac application. QuickPwn/redsn0w/purplera1n are multiplatform.

You need Pwnage tool to preserve baseband for an unlock though.

Right... Well... You can if you have a friend with a Mac who creates and sends you the IPSW. (Or if you like to live dangerously you can look for a Custom IPSW on the internet)

Then you just restore to that IPSW from your Windows iTunes.

If you get a copy of Pwnage Tool created custom_restore IPSW for 2G and run it with iTunes, you could.

well I also have a complaint after I downloaded the firmware costumes ... and I use windows and iTune 9 .. but after I restore with DFU mode I get error 1602 ..
after that I try to another computer I get an error 1600
anyone can help??😕
My previous 3.1 firmware restore costumes with my 2G iphone ..
