iPod touch 3.1 update help

Help!
I just updated my ipod touch to 3.1.1, it backed up then started installing 3.1.1
and when it finished, all my music, videos and pictures were deleted.
is there anyway of getting it back?

Can't you just re-sync the content in your library? You could restore your iPod to the backup created just prior to the update, if there is one, but you will need to update again if you want the features/bug fixes implemented in 3.1.1. To restore and iPod touch/iPhone from backup, right click on the device in the sidebar, then select Restore from Backup, and choose the backup date.
