I'm finding it a little tough remembering to use 3 fingers to drag and kind of miss the old double tap with one finger to drag. I don't mind getting used to the new feature, but is there anyway to use the old drag method instead?

    General thoughts?

I don't understand why Apple changed this either but you can revert to the previous double tap method by going into:

System Preferences > Universal Access >Mouse & Trackpad > Trackpad Options

Tick the box "Dragging ... without Drag Lock" and click Done

    Hope this helps,
    Steve

Thanks for posting... I found that the three finger drag functions better/easier and was able to adjust to the four finger swipes but it really screwed up everyone else in the family.. so back to the double tap to drag I am :D I do wonder why Apple didn't just make dragging a default "on" option unless they don't want us dragging stuff?
