Before I spent £100+ on a charging dock, does anybody have a recommendation for one that keeps the iPhone in landscape to make use of the new StandBy feature, and also charges an Apple Watch and AirPods?

I have a 13 Pro Max, AW Ultra 2 and some Gen 2 AirPod Pros.

I’m unsure of older models like the Belkin 3 in 1 BoostCharge are still any good or if newer charges are more powerful?

Im considering it! - hella expensive to get it to the UK but looks like the only one offering fast watch AND fast phone MagSafe charging at the moment!
 
Been using belkin 3 in 1 on both of my nightstands for a couple of years with no issues. Most of the official magsafe chargers have the same power output. Belkin did tweak the product by adding the apple watch fast charge recently. I do like the look of the new twelve south hirise deluxe though

Yes it is. The original version did not have apple watch fast charging but they revised it a month or two after the AW7 came out. Read the description in the link

Be careful as many of the 3-ways will not charge an Ultra. Watch ends up dinging all the time. I did not find one that works.

forgive my naivety, 15w is the fastest MagSafe will go isnt it?

does it fast charge the ultra aswell? - ive seen reports the magnets not very strong so the watch wobbles around on it and doesnt sit straight

it says 2.5w watch charging ... thats not fast charging?

To be honest I’m not that clued up on the specifics either. The watch charges quickly as well and I can’t say I have any concern over the Ultra slipping off or anything. I’m very happy with mine and I’ve had it for over a year now.
