that is all
You can't use small or irregularly sized discs in an slot-loading drive.
You have to use an external or use another computer.
one of the reasons I'm thankful I have a Mac Pro
As a matter of fact, irregular sized Disc wont work on most slot-loading drives. The Wii is the only device, that I know of, that accepts both regular CDs and GameCube-sized CDs.
this is the first slot load i've run across that has problems
From Wikipedia: Here.
You're lucky you haven't jammed any drives then. Small CD's are a big no no with slot loading.
Lol, did you have to learn that hard way?
By the briefness of the post it sounds terribly like it!!!
It's mentioned in the manual btw.
My MBP came with a manual!?!?!
Come'on who reads those
Haha...I did. But only coz it was shiny.
now i know for sure for sure
it jammed the drive, and i was sure i'd have to take apart the MBP (at 2 weeks old) to get it out. instead, i put another cd in and it spit them both out
so...don't try 3 in. cds. And maybe don't try my method of removal. Nothing got scratched, though.
