MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010) 3 pending bad sectors, 7 rellocated bad sectors Overall smart status: failing I have owned the computer about 9 months, I work from home and use it 24/7 and use imovie/handbrake a lot which obviously is taxing to this hard drive. Sometimes my disc usage will spike and completely slow everything on the computer down, until I either restart the computer.. or quit firefox, safari, itunes and whatever else I'm running.. I must admit I am kinda disappointed by this, I have never owned a mac before and I do like it.. BUT I have always bought window lap tops that have lasted me 5+ years, without any type of hardware issues... anyways can someone please let me know what options I have to fix this problem? thanks Can I fix this problem without bringing it in for repairs? Will Apple cover this while I am still under the 1st year warranty? How long will I be without a computer while this process unfolds?
