3 week old Macbook Pro 2011 now has dot in middle of screen?

I bought my Macbook pro 2011 Hi-res 15" 3 weeks ago from the Apple Online Store. After installing and playing a game this week, I notice that a grey dot appeared in the middle of the screen, especially noticeable when browsing on safari, with a white background.

Is this a dead pixel or stuck pixel? what should I do? Can Apple do a replacement?

Go into an Apple Store immediately. They will make an exception most likely as it is under 30 days old.

Since I bought it off on the Apple Online Store, which the 15" hi-res display was a configured to order, wouldn't I have to call AppleCare? Would they make the exception?

I thought the return date was 14 days? But you have a free year of AppleCare; I highly suggest taking it in there, sounding concerned, and have it fixed.
