30" Apple Cinema Display on PC?

Does anybody know if a PC will run a 30" Apple display? My MBP discreet will drive the display no problem but when I hook it up to a PC with a DVI output, I cannot get it to work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What GPU do you have in your Windows computer (if that is what PC stands for)?

I believe it requires a dual-link capable card?

Its just a HP Business Desktop DC5100 with a Nvidia GEForce 8400GS graphics card. DVI-I output. Am I right in saying that single link DVI will not drive the screen?

Yep, as you need a Dual Link DVI to get 2560 x 1600 pixels onto a 30" display.

Nope nothing is working now - even with my mbp connected to it. Definitely getting power and my mbp is detecting it but no life on screen. It should turn on when I power up my machine yeah?
