30" Cinema HD Display refurbished - any experience?

I'm looking to add an Apple display to go alongside my MBP. I'm not a fan of the glossy displays so the 24" or upcoming 27" displays are out of the question, leaving me with the pricey matte 30" Cinema HD Display. It's regularly $1,799 but the refurb is $1,299. Hard to pass up a chance to save $500.

Anyone have any experience buying the refurbished 30" Cinema HD? What should I expect? Would you recommend to just buy it new?

Just like any other apple refurb, they're generally of same if not better quality than new, as they under go a lot of QA.
