I've been looking for a 30" display for a long time now. I ordered a 30" ACD, but sent it back promptly because of the annoying anti-glare coating. I couldn't focus on anything else.

I'm looking for user experiences with the following displays. If you don't see the anti-glare coating on the 30" ACD, don't bother. Also, no TNs, I'm a designer. The machine is an early 2008 2.8Ghz 8-core.

My choices are:

Apple Cinema HD Display(H-IPS)

Dell 3007WFP-HC (H-IPS)

Dell 3008WFP (H-IPS)

DoubleSight DS-305W (H-IPS)

DoubleSight DS-305W (H-IPS) different Dell part# than above

Samsung SyncMaster 305T (S-PVA)

HP LP3065 (S-IPS)

LG W3000H (S-IPS)

old thread, i know. But if you don't want antiglare coating, get the 305t. It's already calibrated out of the box and the picture is awesome.

I've had the 305T for about six months now and I'm quite happy with it. No glare, even brightness, well calibrated. Also, the price is extremely reasonable compared to the others.
