30 FPS vs 60 FPS difference for office work?

Long story short, would I notice any difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS for on a monitor for normal office work. I don't play games and rarely watch videos. I think I'll be ok, but wanted to see if someone with more experience could with in.

I don't think they make 30fps monitors lol you mean 60 vs 120 vs 144. Id say if you want smoothness even if its just working on the computer always go 120hz it is so much better than 60hz, 60hz is just stuttery and honestly once you go 120hz you will begin to see how bad 60hz is for displays

definitely not worth going 30hz that is just good for video that is awful for response time for work. you will notice just lag and stutter doing that. Id say minimum 60hz never go below 60 not worth it

60Hz is more than satisfactory for just about everything. 30Hz has a noticeably slow response and flickering sort of effect.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like most monitors I'm seeing are 60 Hz so that sounds like what I'll end up with. Good to know that it should be sufficient, and to stay away from anything lower.

Refresh rate signifies the number of times a display refreshes in a second. So, in the 120Hz display, the screen updates 120 times every second.

Usually, it is difficult to notice the pixels updating as it is so fast. And yes, 120 Hz is amazing for games and everything, it is undoubtedly snappier than the 60 Hz. I would suggest if you can test both, especially with apps you are going to use regularly.

Not every Mac even supports 120Hz. I wouldn’t get too caught up in refresh rates above 60Hz for office work.
