$30 gift card for activation delays

So did you guys actually receive your gift card? I've been on vacation since Sunday and I just checked my e-mail. I received my gift card on Monday. I didn't even know all this was going on till right now.

Funny thing is I really didn't have much delay since I just popped in my old sim card after the 48 hr delay message and it worked fine. It stopped working on my trip but I just dropped in to an AT&T store and problem fixed.

Is it an actual gift card? Or a $30 credit to your iTunes account. I know when Apple refunded cash for early adopters of the iPhone 2G, like myself, I received the credit on my iTunes account.
