If I want drama, I'll open my 401K statements. I need to laugh these days and 30 Rock has never let me down.

I also saw whatever free ep. iTunes had on way back when and didn't really get it. With the whole Sarah Palin comedy thing recently, though, I've re-paid attention to Tina Fey (like the rest of America), and now I've even come to appreciate the old Weekend Updates I thought were only OK. 30 Rock is definitely a funny show. There's generally one line per show that cracks me up.

absolutely amazing show... Tina Fay is crazily cute, Tracy Morgan is hilarious, and Alec Baldwin is wonderfully evil

I've watched this show from the beginning, and have loved it. So naturally the network will cancel it after 3 or 4 seasons like they did with Arrested Development.
I hope I'm wrong, because this show is honestly better than The Office.

and baldwin is sooo underrated as comedic actor, his episodes of snl are by far the funniest... canteen boy.

No way will it get cancelled. One of the best network shows and NBC knows it. Thursday is a great slot. Now that stupid chick show, kat and whatever - it's going down. Terrible. Mucks up my Thursday since I usually fall asleep during it & after a few cocktails watching Earl. Office always wakes me up and gets me primed for 30 R.

If you guys like 30 Rock and The Office, you should check out Peep Show. It's the best written comedy show I've ever seen and I try to see a lot of them. But be prepared; the lead characters aren't as likable as American lead characters.

I've seen a bit of both the British, and then later the American versions. They're both funny. My opinion was actually based on watching a bit of both.
Anyway, I still think the American version of The Office is funnier than 30 Rock most of the time. It's just wickedly funny stuff.
The episode last night was funny, maybe the best so far this season. "Oh what so you think because we're both black it means we know each other?" lol

I was saying the British one spoiled the American one for me. I love Steve Carrell but the original Office was a masterpiece. So I think 30 Rock is a notch above the American Office.
