if my maths is correct the iPad pro would have lasted me 31 hours, mainly note taking in Notability and flicking into others things occasionally.

Wow!

That's an impressive bit of kit in my opinion.

I doubt 30 hours. But I recently have kept my pro in my bag and I got a 16.5 hour usage with over 200 hours of standby. So basically 10 days out of it without having to charge. It is really amazing.

I'm down to 40 percent after 2 days. Pretty consistent that I charge every other day now. I guess I use it quite a bit but probably only couple hours per day.

If you are just using it to take notes and have the screen on a lower brightness, then I don't see why it wouldn't last a really long time. Not sure about 30 hours, but it should last considerably longer than normal. Taking notes uses little processing power, and does not use any internet radio, so most of the device would be in a lower power state.

I think the battery life is exceptional on the pro. Play a movie at half brightness or more, however, and you will see a notable decrease. Even safari browsing would consume more power.

Note the usage statistics are "since the last full charge" but seems impressive nonetheless. :)

Pretty happy with what I've been getting too. Much better than I expected.

Actually, using the Pencil is extremely draining. When using the Pencil the refresh rate on the screen is quadrupled from 60hz to 240hz. It also uses quite a lot of processing horsepower.
