+1

I just finished installing windows xp professional sp2 and I'm missing those same drivers.

OK, while contemplating on making the switch, I wanted to check a few more things. As I understood, the LAN issue can now be fixed, and the video drivers can be had from Laptops2Go?

I have a couple more questions for anyone that has an XP install on the new MBP:

1. Does the wireless network work?
2. Does Bluetooth work? More specifically, does the Wireless Mighty Mouse work on a new MBP under Windows?

I guess no news on the audio driver yet?

Wait for a new version of Boot Camp guys...

I guess we are waiting on the Boot Camp anyway. How about my Mighty Mouse question?

Can anyone confirm that the Mighty Mouse works on a MBP under Windows XP?

Thanks.

Wireless works fine, im not sure about bluetooth.

I am still trying to find those video and lan drivers.

Why wouldn't it? Apple doesn't issue drivers for it on Windows as it is. It just makes it an awkward two button mouse.

im using the driver linked by Freygg and it works fine. the video drivers, anyone found those yet?

Yea the two links provided are correct. You just have to manually install the drivers. Is anyone else having huge issues getting audio to work? Vista installs the drivers, but theres no audio coming out.

Exact same thing here. Realtek hi def audio but no sound. I suppose I'll just wait for updated bootcamp. Using Vista Ultimate btw.

What usually happens is that you can get sound via the headphone jack but you won't get sound over the speakers until you have the proper Apple drivers. This happened on my iMac.

Has anyone gotten the xp drivers to work for the 8600, following the instructions from laptopvideo2go I get an error about missing "nvucode.bin"

Thanks

my bluetooth keyboard isn't working right in vista. It will recognize the keyboard and pair with it, but then it immediately unpairs after the pairing is complete and disappears until I search for it again...

idk what I'm doing wrong.

OKAY - so i figured out how to get this to work with XP

You will need this set of drivers and INF Files as your main source of drivers:
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13407

You will also need this:
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=0

or any of the Packed Files to get the nvucode.bin file from.

Update the driver via device manager, using the INF from the first link, then device manager should say it cant find NVUCODE.bin, direct it to the 2nd set of files from the link.

I am sure there is a better way to do this. I will try hosting the NVUCODE.bin or something so people can download it.
