Which browser do you use and why?

I use safari just becuase Firefox is a bit too slow loading the front page then Safari and Camino is a touch slower, also because Safari is default :p

I use Firefox. It's set as default on my Mac and I love it, easy to use and the mouse gestures are really neat.

FF.

safari is faster to launch, but it seems that it's slower to load web pages. it's just got too many little glitches here and there. i also hate the fact that it tends to load at least 90% of the page before it displays anything, so you are stuck staring at the blank screen when some remote images doesn't load.

Safari all the way! I just don't like the feel of Firefox! Although I have to use it when I want to watch DivX videos online (www.tv-links.co.uk)

Yeah..probably best not to post that link. (e.g, piracy issues.)

Like others, I use Safari mostly, but use Firefox when Safari goes screwy. (However, FF is a last resort. I suggest you try Tominated for a back up browser.

On ocassion, I feel like using something different, such as Camino or Opera.

Safari - but like others have mentioned, it can be a bit clunky at times. I'll load Camino when it gets too slow. It may have something to do with my needing to boost my RAM, but I noticed yesterday that sometimes I can put in a fairly innocuous URL (chase.com), and it will be faster to go to my wife's PC, wake it from sleep, go back into my account, type the URL into the already open FF, and have the page load there than wait for Safari to finish loading. Expect, we have the same amount of RAM in out machines. It's moments like that when I get mad a Safari. But normally, no problem and I'm happy.

Safari. I tried Camino for a while, and it was faster, but the operative term is "was". After a few months it slowed down considerably, and no amount of cache-emptying or updating would help. So it's back to Safari for me.

I also tried Firefox for a bit, but it was the slowest of the three browsers, so I forgot that pretty quickly.

I'd use Firefox if it loaded a little quicker. In terms of dock icon hops, Safari beats it about 2 hops to 8.

I do live the interface and other little things about it though, but most have since been integrated into Safari

Safari, I like the interface. Gels well with the OS which is the intention I suppose!

I'm a Firefox user, and FF2 is my preferred browser.

Tough, at the moment I am trying out a couple of potential replacements:
- Camino 1.5 [actually sat as my default browser at the moment]
- Netscape Navigator 9 (beta)
- GranParadiso (aka Firefox 3 alpha 5)
