I'd suggest reading the buyers reviews.

This model is meant for the U.S. Market. Wrong chargers enclosed i.e. American pin style, and from one review an unofficial UK style one. Also check Warranty Small Print to see if a UK Apple Store would help in regards to a U.S. iPad.

If you want £100 off the retail price, it's safer to buy a UK model from the Apple RefurbStore.

Apart from the box, I challenge you to distinguish a refurbished iPad from a new retail model.

Hi there, as long as its on Prime you'll be fine. My friend has gotten his 6 plus and Air 2 from there and they have been legit/fine.

Should I wait for Apple to release an updated iPad air?

Unless you're getting a screaming great deal or unless you can't wait another day for a new iPad, it's crazy to buy a new iPad at this point. Odds are good that there will be a new one introduced soon. If that happens, you'll either be able to buy better/faster hardware for a price that is probably the same as the Air 2 today, or you'll be able to buy an Air 2 for less. It's hard to see how waiting would not be better at this point.

Is he going to get full UK warranty support?
Hi there, yes, do check this with the serial number once you get it. If not just return. My friend did get Applecare+ for his iPhone that he got off Amazon. In regards to a updated air, wait for it. The Air 2 will go down even more once the Air 3 is out. You may regret getting an Air 2 now.

You shouldn't be buying an iPad this close to the update

Sorry, but I don't agree!!!

I bought an iPad Air 2, 64gb wifi only model to replace my aging iPad 2 the other week - personally, I couldn't give a monkeys if Apple announce a new updated iPad next week! I'm happy with my Air 2!

;)

Or, to split the difference, if you can get an Air 2 at an attractive enough price, there's no reason not to buy now.
