I have a stock macbook pro and I was wondering if I should put the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version on it? The only thing I know about 64 bit is that you can use more RAM but is that it?

    Thanks.

I agree with above. Go 64-bit. It's relatively simple to install. Just requires a small bit of cunning skill and patience.

Not only can 64bit utilise more RAM, but it also uses the existing RAM more efficiently to give you a slight speed boost over 32 bit. In addition Microsoft is slowly discontinuing support for 32bit operating systems.

I went 32-bit - I wasn't sure about drivers and what not. Seems snappy enough to me, although I don't use Windows for anything but mundane tasks.

there are some programs (32bit) that want work with 64bit as the drivers are 32bit ...
