Hi, I currently have the late 2011 Macbook Pro and I need Windows on it for school. I've just purchased VMware Fusion and I am going to buy Windows 7 soon. I was wondering, as my machine is 64-bit, is there any benefit of running a 64-bit version of Windows over the 32-bit?

Will the 32-bit run faster in anyway?

Thanks in advance, Aliascognito

Get the 64-bit version. It'll give you room to upgrade in the future to more than 4Gb of ram.

I would check with your school to see if you can get Windows for free. I took a non-traditional class and got access to a lot of free MS products through MSDNAA.

Just a thought,
