32” display that does 120hz w the M1 Max?

Will any display with 120hz or 144hz work? My laptop will be closed, so it’s only the monitor.

If you connect it using a USB-C/Thunderbolt to DisplayPort cable, probably.
If I hook up either of my Apple Silicon Macs using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable to my 1440p 144Hz monitor though, it flickers and doesn't work perfectly at 144Hz/Adaptive 144Hz. However, I've only used two instances of the same cable, so maybe I need to try another one...
