I called a few local Radio Shack stores, none of them have the 32gb. The one I ordered should be here Monday.

Went to the one in frisco because it said one in stock online. They didn't have any. So I had to go to Best Buy anyways and as long as they said in stock online they could match. Well it did luckily :)

Got it no problem at bb as well as my new jaybird X2s. Merry Christmas to me indeed.

I called Plano, Carrollton, and Frisco and was told that they were out. The Frisco guy actually laughed. No wonder they are going out of business haha

Walked into the Radio Shack on Preston in Frisco and of course no one is in there and I took half a step in, asked, he said nope. Walked right back out. Was on my way to BB anyways so stopped on by. BB takes the business again.

Awesome deal and thank you for posting it.

i was able to price match at Best Buy, now I need to figure out how to cancel the Radio Shack order...

Yea, looks like I will be stuck paying the $15 for my "next day" shipping that took 4 days. My first and last online purchase from Radio Shack.

I was denied a price match at local Walmart because they don't price match RadioShack. I checked BB and Target as well, and neither of them officially price match RadioShack either. I wonder if you just have to get an associate in store who does not know this policy, since every store I've called says they do not price match RadioShack.

I had to talk to the electronics department manager and the store manager. I didn't make a big deal about and but I just (politely)pressed them about it after the first no. They ended up doing it. The whole thing took about five minutes.

What did you say to convince them?

I was in the Apple section where the apple tv was and i asked if they would, I pulled up the website and the guy was like ok...
It was a kid

The cashier asked the department manager. He pointed out that the website said "out of stock online." I pointed out that at the top it said "in store only." As we were discussing it the store manager walked by. He asked her, she said it was his call. That was about it.

Interesting. I'll head back there later and see what they say.

My same exact scenario. He just looked on my phone to see if it was in stock. It was, done in 30 seconds and grabbed it right off the shelf.

Easy peasy

I got it for $107 and some change. It wasn't as easy as some of the other members here, but I still got it. Took a while but Target finally caved.

remind me NEVER to order anything from RadioShack again!!!! you can't cancel an order, once its placed. And from reading online you can't return to the store....

This is why you are going out of business!!!!!

https://www.radioshack.com/pages/return-policy

Corporate greed will blame online shopping places like Amazon. Because it obviously can't be their terrible customer service, dumb policies, and crappy in store selection right?

I used to love RadioShack. Although not high dollars items myself and many others would go their for electronic repair parts and tools. They decided pretty much being the monopoly on those items wasn't lucrative enough, so they got rid of all of it to make way for cheap Chinese remote control cars and overpriced cellphones.

I got an AppleTV from Best Buy, it broke 20 days after buying it. I took it back and was informed of their 15 day return policy and how they couldn't help me. When I asked to speak to a manager he told me the same thing and how it's not their problem.

So I drove to the Apple Store and was immediately help. The only way they could have made the experience faster is if they threw the AppleTV out the door as I was running by to catch it.

Like you with RadioShack I pretty much swore to never goto Best Buy again, meanwhile Apple made me (up to this point) a lifelong customer just from good customer service.
