I had a 32GB model for a while, but ended up returning it in favor of a 128GB LTE model. I must have the LTE version because I prefer having the actual GPS chip inside and I do sometimes use the LTE connection directly through my iPad. Plus, now with ATT NumberSync, it may also mean that I won't have to have my phone to make calls, so now I can go places with must the iPad and leave the iPhone behind.

I am currently debating getting either the 32GB or the 128 + LTE. I am not sure yet.

So for all of you 32GB iPad Pro owners out there, what are your thoughts on your choice? Why did you choose to not get a 128gb + LTE model?

For you LTE iPP owners, feel free to share why you decided that the 32GB was not for you as well.

I’ve owned iPad’s since 2011 and since then I’ve only once needed to use my iPad out of wifi range, and that one time I was able to tether/personal hotspot my iPad to a cellular connection via my iPhone and can do so if the need arose in the future. So in light of this I have no need to purchase the much more expensive cellular option.

Also with regards to storage size. 32GB is more than big enough for me as all my music is now in Apple Music/iCloud and as such this frees up storage space. I do all my gaming my my 6s Plus (which is 64GB) so don’t require large storage for games on my iPad Pro.

I ordered my first iPad three days before AT&T stopped offering the unlimited data plan for iPad. I have transferred the plan to the succeeding iPads I have owned. Since the only Pro with LTE is the 128 GB version, that is what I will be getting. Also, it is coming as a Christmas present, so I do not have to be concerned about the cost. I also use it for GPS navigation which cannot be done on a non-LTE (cellular) device.
