If you want to sell the ibook, do this. Buy a cheap superdrive and a new hard drive, (I have a cheap superdrive) advertise it saying that the hard drive is under warranty, which it will be, which is a plus to used laptop buyers and advertise you put a dvd burner inside your iBook, which did not come with it originally. You have upgraded it and the warranty will mean something to some buyer. Contact me if you need the superdrive.

I'd get the Transcend 64GB SSD; I'm about to fit one in my Dell 700m running Ubuntu.

Were you able to configure the transcend in your 700m? I have the 32GB SSD and I can't get it to recognize :-(
