Well, I had installed Catalina on a 32GB Sandisk 3.1 cruzer then, an update needed more space (10GB) and that ended my beta testing for this year. One now needs at least 64GB...how bloated! The OS will be out in three months...I'll wait till then to play.

Why not buy a 1TB SSD for about $80 and an external case for about $8 on amazon?

The last update was released as a full OS updater, so it effectively needed enough space for two OS's temporarily.

Because, I was beta testing...not a regular drive!

That's what I realized, and I just didn't feel like spending money to continue the beta testing. Next year, I have a 64GB drive.
