alright here are the comparison pictures of the Aluminum Wireless Keyboard..
also for reference there is an old Apple Keyboard, and the Aluminum Wired.

I have a nearly identical setup. 24" Dell monitor, 12" Powebook and an iPhone. I think i need to get one of the new keyboards. I used to like the old keyboard, but I found i can type much faster with the powerbooks board.

Have you noticed an increase in speed on the new ones?

Sick. Yeah, I want a Macbook Pro though.. oh well...


yeah, the old keyboards were really sticky on typing. the new ones are a lot like typing on the powerbook or more like a macbook..
which I love, because I type a lot faster on them.

yeah, I like using it so far. I have the wired one too, so I'm already used to typing on that. It's just a little awkward that there is no numpad, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
 
nice comparison pictures. Helped me sway a little more towards buying it. Been a little hesitate after seeing some other pictures. Wish they had the full size option as well.
 
does the wireless one version have 2 usb ports?

if not i might as well say goodbye now :(
unless i get a usb hub.. but still ;)

The wireless KB is meant to be wireless, no USB ports. :)

BTW, thanks for the comparison pics. I definitely want one now :(
 
The first picture really shows how tiny and compact the keyboard is. I'm used to seeing a keyboard hog most of the desk space.

Looks so neat and tidy - I want one !
 
has anyone seen the wireless keyboard in apple retail stores today?

i have the 100 dollar iphone credit burning a hole in my pocket.
 
I like your big screen more than that tiny keyboard!

What sort of tactile touch does the keyboard have? Is it like the MacBook or softer or harder?

Does it click?
 
I dunno now, no numpad...I like my Macbook pro and deal with it because well, it's a portable. But when I'm at my desktop, I want the full size keyboard. I was leaning towards the new wireless keyboard, but think I'm going with the new wired one now.

All the time for me. One of my macbooks is hooked up to a monitor in my bedroom which is in a wallunit. I just pull up my recliner chair when I want to use it. The keyboard is on my lap. I hate the big clunky heavy mac keyboard that I have now. I can't wait to get this new keyboard it will be heaven to me :apple:
