So yes, you should see it fairly quickly.

I haven't seen any movement over here. Ordered 38mm SS BSB yesterday around 4:30 p.m. eastern time. I was given a shipping window of June 5-June 11, which isn't too bad.

Give it at least 48 hours to change to "preparing for shipment". I can almost guarantee you'll have it by Thursday. Here's the timeline for my order:
Ordered: 5/13 @ 1PM.
Preparing for Shipment: 5/15 @ 12AM.
Shipped: 5/15 @ 3PM.
Delivered: 5/18 @ 4PM.
Would have only took 3 days to get to me but Saturday and Sunday aren't business days so I had to wait over the weekend.
Also, I tried on a 42 again after wearing my 38 for the day and am now sure the 38 suits me better. 🙂

Here's what it said in my order confirmation email:
"Available to ship: 3-4 weeks
Delivers: Jun 8 - Jun 15 by Standard Shipping"
It was delivered on May 18th, much earlier than their estimate.
That would be great news to get an update. You'd think that with you ordering on the 13th and my order just 5 days later would get similar results. When I ordered my 42, it took about two days to get my email to set up the appointment for set up and I haven't gotten that yet.
I doubt that many people just up and swapped from the 42 to the 38 in five days to push the shipments back.
I have the watch price pending on my CC. Does that mean anything?

I gotta say, I feel so lucky that these specific models are shipping so quick.
I preordered the 38 silver sport at 1203AM, tried that model on and then the 38 SS black band right after each other. My first impression was that the 38 silver just didn't feel like *my* watch, but for the first gen it would be fine. Once the 38 SS w/ black band went on a few moments later, I knew immediately that was the model I would buy for the 2nd gen. They only had the black leather band but I knew it'd look great with the black sport band.
Once the 38 silver sport arrived I found myself liking the entire concept of the Apple watch more than I anticipated. I really dug this thing, and even started coming around to liking the 38 sport a bit more. But in the back of my mind, I knew I would be counting down the days for the 2nd gen to come out so I could get the one I wanted...
Add to that the 3 week return policy instead of the usual 14 days. So on day 20 I had to make the jump when I read that these things were still shipping next day almost a week after you guys started confirming it.
So a big thank you all the guys that made this discovery and shared it. You made it possible for me to jump on the watch that I wanted instead of the one I was going to settle with 😀

Ordered my 38 SG BSB last night with an EDD of 22 Jun - 6 July. I'd love to see it much sooner than that...🙂
