These are all photos of the 38mm. I can pull the 42mm off, but this was my favorite. I'm a lefty so ignore the crown placement

Awesome, looks good on you :). I traded up to 42mm, myself.

But however the watch feels on you, that's what you need to get :)

I usually do not like SS bands, but this try on session convinced me to get one. Classic leather, steel band, and $1200 later :(

Oh and the sport is such a comfortable band!

I also have 165mm wrists but having preordered the 42mm SS and then gone and tried out both sizes in store I know I made the right decision as I think the 42mm looks just fine on my wrist and I like it. Comparing it to the original Pebble I'm wearing at the moment there is hardly any difference.

38mm on 165 wrist

The 42mm looked good too. Also, I prefer the crown on the inside like my pictures. Being lefty I am use to have the crowns that way. I think it looks better. Crown outside here. Here is a pic of the 42

I have been curious about that myself. I don't have a tiny write, but not huge either. I was set on the 38 but changed my mind to the 42 at the last minute. I do not like the big watch look or even feel. But if you're saying the 42 is close in size to the original pebble that would be perfect for my taste.

What is the size of the flat area of your wrist that the watch sits on? I ordered a 42 and it looks like it fits well on you.

Both look like they fit great. I'm finding that wrists about 165-175mm can get either and will look fine. Anyone else agree?

That is what it looks like from all of the post I have seen in the last 2 days.

If you are in that range, I think it comes down to if you like thick or thin watch bands.

Thanks for posting the pics. I too have a 165mm wrist and have been going back and forth over which size to get. I didn't pre-order my watch because of this issue. Hopefully my in store appointment to try on later will help me decide.

No problem. These are the things I wish we knew before preorders went live! I ordered both the 38 and 42.

I did the noble thing and cancelled the 42 today instead of scalping it :)

I went and tried on both models. I first opted for the 38mm and it fit well. The individual helping me noted that the 38mm would probably be the size of choice. At the time, I agreed. Then, after trying on several 42mm models, I must say that I prefer the 42mm. It's not that much bigger.

The original Pebble is slightly narrower and taller but overall is about the same in dimensions. Thickness wise they aren't significantly that different either. I compared them side by side when I went for my try out appointment. The Pebble looks fine on my wrist so I'm happy with the 42mm model.

I have tried both the 38 and 42 twice (2 appointments). My wrist size is a 155mm, not sure about the width. In pictures, the 42 looks way to big, but in store it look fine to me.

I need to decide before May 13-24 as that's when my 38 SG Sport ships.

I have a 42 coming in June.
