Hey Everyone,

I gifted my wife an Apple Watch (38mm) a few months ago and one of her things she wants is to swap in a 'pink sand' colored band. I see several on amazon, but wasn't sure which one is closest to Apple style and quality? In addition, it looks like Apple stopped making 38mm size bands, or I would have bought it directly from them....which is a bummer.

Anyone that can provide any recommendations that are as close to the Apple look / feel / quality, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Apple 40mm Watch bands are fully compatible with the 38mm Watch, so any 40mm band will fit your wife's 38mm Watch.

Personally, I don't buy third party Watch bands. I prefer Apple's quality and Apple's materials.

You can get the 40mm Pink Sand Sport Band from Apple today.

Won't they be a lot larger in terms of 'band material' and overall length?

No. 40mm bands are perfectly compatible with both the 38mm and 40mm Apple Watches (as are 38mm bands), and 44mm bands are perfectly compatible with both 42mm and 44mm Apple Watches (as are 42mm bands). 38 and 40 are the same width, and 42 and 44 are the same width. When you buy a Sport Band new from Apple, regardless of whether it's 38/40 or 42/44, you get three pieces - the pin piece, plus a S/M piece and a M/L piece. You would wear the pin piece plus whichever of the others is more appropriate for the circumference of your wrist, S/M or M/L.
