The pic is real, it shows the edge of the box, the short edge, not the long edge box, its the same box that has been shown on the internet since this morning (aus time)
Also, the characters are not Chinese, they are Japanese. So its not from China.
anyway, 38mm space gray AUS, order 3 minutes after launch, nothing yet.
And I havent seen anyone with confirmed shipped status anywhere either in Australia.
I figured Apple thought 38mm are for ladies. Hence they would not likely to choose black. Apparently there are men who wants the 38mm ..... haizzzz
ditto. i'm from australia and still waiting. from my last call with apple customer service, they have no idea what this "open" status mean in the system except that they're ramping production up as much as they can.
yeah, just from my perspective, the 38mm space gray wouldn't be on the top few priorities for production unfortunately......

I ordered on April 10. I got into the store as soon as it got online at 09:01 GMT+1 and was searching for the option to reserve an
Watch for in-store pickup, because the site and support both said this would be possible. Well, it wasn't - so I couldn't find it and decided to place an order online. Got the confirmation at 09:13 with estimated delivery May 12 - May 26. 
Okaaaay. So no watches today.. when are the 38mm's coming?I'm assuming not until next Friday? Is this how Apple usually ships out their orders or will they come in throughout the week?
Honestly don't expect it until mid to late next week. With the weekend here I doubt they'll be processing much

I don't know.. That's what I asked myself too. Gonna be interesting to see whether they decide to ship in (weekly) waves or if they send out watches as soon as they have them produced.

Honestly the same! I literally have lost all interest in this thing now! Total BS and crap way of doing this launch.
i'm absolutely DISGUSTED that, after saying NO IN STORE SALES, that now people can line up and walk away with a watch that we got up in the middle of the night to preorder, but WE AREN'T GETTING OURS TODAY!

There's no set day they send them out - the iPhone 6 launch had constant streams of them coming in over the days/weeks after launch day.
For those of you wishing you got the blue band, it's a completely different looking watch. To each his/her own, but there is no way I'd want to wear that for the next year. (Ok, replacement bands, still... I don't plan on getting a 2nd sport band, maybe a classic buckle.) The dark aluminum looks so much better to me, I'd much rather wait for the one I want.
I am surprised there's still no movement at all on this; I swear I saw 38mm SG's going to the UK in droves a few days ago. Did I dream that? Let's hope it's a weird distribution bottleneck somewhere, and not a production disaster. I doubt Apple would give dates they weren't confident of meeting though.
Yup, I definitely hope there are no bigger production issues, would be cool if they started shipping these in the following days. If we're lucky we could get our watches within the next one or two weeks
Mhh, I don't understand why you are so upset. All of us got a delivery timeframe. So I think if you love to be angry, go ahead. Otherwise, you should probably at least wait for the last day in the timeframe you got to get this upset.

Those of us in the first wave still have two weeks. We can get mad if we don't have anything by May 8, but until then no promise has been broken, and while we are certainly all very disappointed, there's no cause to be angry. Save the emotion so you can be happy when they finally ship/arrive!
Disappointed is how I feel. I'm not angry yet. Instant gratification is never lasting. We still get to wait for it. When everyone that received theirs today get bored with it by Monday...we will hopefully be hearing something about when we will get ours.
I just find it funny that a lot. Actually quite a lot of 42 SG have been shipped and we don't see not even one 38. What the hell happened? It's literally like the only model with no movement.
