Charged on Monday evening, shipped Tuesday, received it yesterday evening.
I was a little concerned that the 38 would be too small. I'm male, 5'11" 175mm wrist circumference. I realized off the bat that 38mm is perfect. I had tried on in-store, but seeing it side by side with the 42mm made it seem small.
Wore it to the gym this morning, and even using workout mode while there, at 2:00 this afternoon I'm sitting pretty at 78% battery life!
What I like most about the Apple Watch: Not having to constantly remove my phone from my pocket every time I get an alert. Obviously, this is a feature of any smart watch, but this one just feels premium. It's clearly an Apple product!

Sweet! Just moved to Shipped. Email says "Shipped: Delivers May 8 by Standard Shipping"
Does that mean that it will ship out on the 8th or that it will actually be delivered on the 8th?
Ah, good to see they're finally making progress. Ordered 4/24 without any hopes of receiving it soon, got the "May 21 - June 4" window. As they're past initial preorder mark now I think I'll be seeing my Watch by the end of next week hopefully!
Sorry but I think you will be waiting a little longer than next week. I ordered on 4/10 at 11:45 PM and I still have yet to get mine. My shipping range is also May 21-June 4.
I just think that a lot of the initial orders were around midnight, and so that since they've finally cleared that first hurdle, the remaining orders will be more spaced out and they'll be able to make progress by days, not by minutes. This ramp should allow them to get later orders out faster as time goes on.
i agree. i also have to believe apple is ramping up production and having greater yields.

That is so cool! Now we are definitely on the trend of >1hr per day. My turn is almost close (+6hr).
Ordered 38mm SG Sport on April 29 with June ETA. This changed on May 6 to 29/05/2015 - 12/06/2015.
