After returning my 38mm SS Classic buckle for a defective screen, I placed an order for a 38mm SS black sports band last evening. Estimated to ship 3-4 weeks. When I got up this morning, my credit card had been charged, and it is preparing for shipment.

If anyone is curious, I returned the watch instead of repairing it for a couple of reasons. One, I paid for a new watch. It was defective out of the box. I didn't want to send it for repair. I see that as a refurbished product, and I'm not paying full price for a refurb. Secondly, I wasn't very fond of the classic buckle. When I called Apple and asked about the band exchange, they told me the only sports band I could get was white (I wanted black).

Ordered this very model yesterday afternoon (5/7), and when I checked this morning, it's "preparing for shipment". The initial ship date was 1st/2nd week of June. I'm in NYC, btw. Not sure if that has any bearing...

ordered the same model lastnight

ordered the same model lastnight and got charged around 4 am EST. says preparing for shipment as well. cant wait!!!!!

Ordered the 38mm SS BSB around 9am pacific time, today. Shipping to NJ. Hope I get my cc charged and order shipped. I was gonna with the BCB, but really would rather have the black sport. The classic band leather is pretty cheap feeling...

I haven't totally made my mind about 38 vs 42. Are most of you guys ordering the 38..well guys? x) I think the 38 looks better on my wrist and is more comfortable, but the 42 will probably be more usable. If the 38 is still usable, I'll probably go with it.

Male 160mm wrists. 38 looks more fashionable. 42 looks like a smart watch on the wrist. I like the subtle look. This is a watch. I'm not going to be doing much on it except reply to messages and quick glances at the time/notifications. No need for a bigger screen.

I ordered it on Wednesday. Shipped Thursday. Arrives later today.

Just received notice that it shipped. That was quick... Can't wait.

That's great news! Cancelled my 42mm SS BSB and ordered the 38mm version this morning. Same 3 - 4 week timeframe. Let's see if I get charged tonight/tomorrow.

It's not as big a difference in screen size as people think. Are you able to get to an Apple Store and see them in person?

I'm not a guy, but have a large wrist for a woman at 165mm. I prefer the 38. It is more discrete and classy looking in my opinion than the 42 on my wrist. Yes, I could wear a 42, but it really seems to stand out and scream smart watch.

I went and tried them at the store. The 38 definitely feels better on my wrist, but unfortunately, because the models don't actually work--can't test force touch or anything, while its on my wrist. And of course, they don't have any working 38mm models... I also think it looks much better on me as well.

Is there anyway to differentiate between them actually charging the card for shipment and Apple just checking to see if the card works? I think usually if they are checking it is like a 1$ charge, am I right? I have gotten charged for the entire amount of the watch, but my status is supposedly still "processing," I hope they are actually charging and sending the watch my way.

Ordered today 5/8 and got charged an hour ago. Ohio. Maybe I'll have it by Monday?

That doesn't unfortunately help anyone who wants the 42. Don't think they are seeing the same movement.

My cc was charged sometime earlier this evening and my status just changed to preparing for shipment. Hopefully it gets here on monday, fingers crossed. :)

Ordered yesterday afternoon, charged over night and preparing for shipment :)

38mm SS Black Sports Band shipping quickly 5/8 (USA)

This is sort of disconcerting. I ordered a 38 MM BSB on April 26 and I'm stuck on processing. What's up with that?
edit: oh never mind. That's what I get for getting space gray I guess

Ugh. I ordered the 38mm bcb but after 48 hours of no movement, i cancelled and ordered 38mm ss bsb. Apple please take my money! :((

Same here.... I've never been so eager to give $600.00 to anyone. Lol

On a positive note, I'm saving $100 bucks #

Let us know if/when your status changes. I'll do the same.

Boston. Good luck!

Thanks!

I'm in the UK and currently have a Space Grey Sport 42mm but I've been very tempted to also order the 38mm SS with black sports band. It states 1-2 weeks delivery. Does anyone think it could be with me before Friday 15th? Thanks
