Some cali company just released a mid-air star wars-like "3D" [really 2D onto an invisible mist] screen. Looks brillant, but a mite expensive at 18k. Maybe in 3-4 years it'll come down to my level.

Takes multiple outputs (PC via standard VGA, Videogame & DVD via RGB), so don't see why it wouldn't work on any mac with the right cable.

The home site got slashdotted and is now down.

My thought: It'd be perfect for playing WoW ;P

WOW. that is about all i can say. that is really cool.
and you can use your finger or hand for a mouse inside
the display.

it kinda reminds me of that movie minority report.

😱 i want!

Im not entirely sure it would work yet. because right now 3D chips process a flat 2D image, for true 3D to work it'd need to render all the layers together. or... a cheaper option would to have a gyroscope headset and a plain 2D monitor. the gyroscopes would affect the players view, so you could in essence look around corners. (maybe this is what the Revolution will use 😱 😱)
