3D Imacs in 2012 / 2013 ?

The Ivy Bridge CPUs will very likely be in the next generation iMacs, if that's what you meant. They certainly won't have 3D screens.
 
Ivy Bridge in the next gen Imac without a doubt!
I'm keen to find out what clock speeds these run at.

Yeah, if the Ivy Bridge CPUs are out by then, which they should be, I'm sure Apple will make sure they're in the iMacs.

Why? More expensive and they're not that great. It's far more likely we see a retina display than a 3D one. It's a bit of a gimmick imo and I think it requires NVidia graphics, too.
 
The new 3-D transistors have nothing to do with 3D displays. I doubt we will see 3D in iMacs until there is a good glasses-free option.
 
I bet the next imac is all i7 and one ivy bridge six core on 27" hi end. You can count my word 🙂
 
I hate the idea of a 3D computer screen; it would cost more and I will be damned if I will wear 3D glasses on top of my reading glasses.
