Is there an app for ipad out there like Google Sketchup? I design a lot in Google Sketchup, and I haven't seen anything like it for the iPad. (yet)

Wow ... Good for Autodesk to have the balls and make an app for CAD. Hopefully this will make other CAD software makers ( I am looking at you Solidworks and Catia ) to jump aboard the app trend !

Now if they can make an Autodesk Inventor viewer, im sold !

If you want to try running CATIA, or even Solidworks on a machine with a processor as weak as that and 256MB of RAM, you can. Good luck.

Who said anything about running catia or solidworks, all I want is a viewer ( in dont want to modify on the fly any 3D files)

Catia on 256 of RAM ... Thats insane talk lol

A viewer for both is possible tho

Ha! The first time I used AutoCad was on an 8088 based machine. Redraws took 8 minutes. Back then a 20 mb HD was considered enormous.
