Wherever my feet take me…
I've been hearing lately news about manufacturers making 3D flash chips. Does this translate well to CPUs/GPUs? I don't much about chip design, so just curious. Just one of those daydreaming thoughts, you know?

Intel already ships its tri-gate technology in CPUs. See a tri-gate description here, with diagrams (and note year of article):

They're not the only one. FinFET is the broader term for the technology.
