3D Rendering applications for mac

What are my options for a good affordable rendering program to render my CAD files on the mac - I'm running a MBP 2.8.

What application did you use specifically to create those "CAD files"?

Thanks for the link - I created the files in Vectorworks - they are quite complex and take DAYS to render - I was hoping for something a lot faster.

As Vectorworks is running on Mac OS X, have you seen it not using all available cores during rendering? Because if it does, you will not see faster render times with other applications, unless the other render engines are much more efficient.
