3D, stylized Pumpkin Carver- free online till Halloween, contest too!!

Hi all!!!

This is for all the creative souls out there, who want a chance to show off what they can do...and possibly win something cool! (havn't decided on prize yet...any ideas, around the $25-30 range?)

Check out "www.cubekin.tumblr.com", to see what other's have already made, go to the "about" section for more info and a link to the web player, and then click "submit" to post your masterpiece!

BTW, it's also totally, 100% cool to use your Cubekin and it's caption, up to 140 characters, as promotion/etc for your own (likely nefarious) ends!

Basically, "Cubekin" is a stylized, cube-oid, 3D pumpkin carver, that challenges you to really be creative and clever with your art. We need lots more gallery entries to show off what can be created, hence the contest and this post!

Cubekin will be (hopefully) launching as an iPhone app just before Halloween, so the webplayer won't be up much longer!

And seriously...prize ideas? Would anyone be interested in a "lottery" of sorts, where each contestant could drop in a doller or something, and the winner would recieve the total amount? Could be fun!!

In an effort to manipulate potential Cubekin customers into becoming real customers, we are hosting a Contest!

Er, did I say "manipulate"? I meant "seduce". Or perhaps "deceive". Wait, that's no good either..."beguile"?

Bah, I'm no good at this, so here's the straight and honest message:

In a blatently self-serving and deceitful effort to thwart your proper judgment-

Contest! A contest, to be exact, for the "Best Cubekin Entry"!

The free, online version of Cubekin will only be available until the (hopefully imminent) App Store launch, so jump in and make your masterpeice now!

Rules:
-The winner will be decided by community vote
-you can submit as many entries as you like!
-max 140 char caption

Prize: The greater of:
-a $25 iTunes gift card (emailed directly to you)
-or, if everyone could pledge $1 to a "Prize Jar", the winner would receive the full amount (all securely taken care of via Paypal)

Deadline: If we get enough entries and a real "Prize Jar" going, there will be a winner picked right away when the real app launches! Then, a second contest will begin for all the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch users who buy the app, which will end on Nov 7th- one full week!

If the "Prize Jar" or entries just aren't flowing, the $25 gift certificate will be given out to a winner decided on Nov 7th.
