Thank you. Sure wish that the new keyboard in iOS 11 had arrow keys then. Moving that cursor by one character will remain tedious. Perhaps typing will be easier.

pressing and holding 2 fingers on the onscreen keyboard allows you to move the cursor more easily.

Yes, thank you, it's just difficult to do when holding an iPad with one hand. A little click of an arrow key would be nice.

Also like the slide your finger on the spacebar of the Google keyboard to move the cursor, but GBoard is buggy on certain websites.
